Meet Buster 🐾 — Looking for His Forever Home
Meet Buster, a scruffy half-pint-sized Terrier mix who we believe may be a Norwich Terrier mix. At approximately 2 years old, Buster is neutered and current on his vaccinations.
This little guy has been through a lot in his short life. He originally lived with an elderly woman who sadly had to move into a nursing home, and since then, Buster has been passed around quite a bit. We’re hoping his next move will be his last. ❤️
Buster is currently living with five other dogs and cats. He is very interested in the cats and is learning that cats are not toys! 😺 He does clash with one of the resident dogs, so a home with the right canine match—or possibly as the only dog—may be best.
I, Lynsey, have been working with Buster on his training since he had very little structure or training previously. The good news? This boy is incredibly smart, willing, and a quick learner! He is very treat-motivated and absolutely LOVES his toys.
Buster does have some minor resource guarding around other dogs, but never toward people. We’ve been working on boundaries, and he is responding really well. Continued structure and positive training will be important for his success.
Some of Buster’s best qualities:
🐾 Crate trained — and actually chooses to go into his crate when he needs a break
🐾 Eats and sleeps comfortably in his crate
🐾 Loves toys
🐾 Very treat motivated
🐾 Smart and eager to learn
🐾 Travels well in the car
🐾 Loves walks and could happily walk all day with you!
🐾 Learning boundaries and making great progress
🐾 Looking for a person who will give him the stability and consistency he deserves
With structure, patience, and continued training, I truly believe Buster has the potential to become someone’s best friend for life. He deserves a home where he can finally feel safe, loved, and settled. ❤️
