While we are in Tulsa preparing for the start of the open classic challenge Monday April 21 I also brought my 3 yr olds to get some exposure and riding.
As I’m so excited about my derby horses I’m ecstatic about my 3 yr olds this year. 🤩

FS Smart Slide has been in professional training for 19 months for cow horse and reining. He is blemish free and barefoot on the front. He's a big stopper and will give you speed when you ask for it, but is also just happy to walk. He has been used to doctor cattle and is steady when handling a rope. Rawhide has been hauled a lot and rides the same way whether you're at home or on the road.

Rawhide has a quite disposition and not spooky. Point him the direction you want to go and he'll go. He is happy to do whatever job you have for him.

Tuesday we braved the cold 🥶 to help with the sr. Horse judging contest, thought we might die but we lived it did help that we all had good sense of humor and Russell Dilday and his wife provided some good entertainment 🤣. The experience was also very good for the horses after a long 3-4 days of horse showing. We did 4 pattern classes and provided horses for the halter as well. I’m always happy to be able to give back to the 4-h and FFA programs. I was once one of them that needed horses to judge.
