Take a guess... when do you think we see the most cases of heatstroke? Here's a hint: not when it's hot outside.

Sadly, it is common for well meaning folks to accidentally OVER heat their pets when it's cold outside. From space heaters to heated blankets and hair dryers: always give your pet the option to move away from the heat and return when they're ready.

If you're concerned that another human or animal is showing signs of hypothermia, *slowly* warm them while seeking emergency care.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Wishing our favorite people a very Merry Christmas and happy holiday season! These are our holiday hours through Jan. 3rd 2026. As a reminder, Swann Animal Clinic at 45th is open on Saturdays and if your pet is experiencing an emergency and our Urgent Care clinic or other locations are closed, the (unaffiliated) Small Animal Emergency Clinic is open!
