Well it appears Santina has reabsorbed her litter. Sometimes these things happen for unknown reasons. She hasn’t been sick, injured, or stressed so who knows. 🤷‍♀️ Its very very upsetting. I will still X-ray around the 12th just to be sure she isn’t hiding a pup or 2. I’ve now notified all those on both hers and Saphira’s waiting lists.

We will now reset and plan for Danica’s first and Calypso’s next litters. Now is your chance to request to be placed on their waitlists. I’ve chosen the next studs but am not quite ready to announce publicly yet. Breeding should happen mid summer, pm for more info.

Well unfortunately Saphira didn’t take with Magnum. We will not be attempting to breed her at a later date and will move towards spaying her.

Finally getting ready to finish the dogs room…

Fresh paint color change and tile. They are also getting permanent 8x5 kennels. We started converting this room 1 1/2 yrs ago then life happened…. So happy to get it finished.

No worries… they only kennel at night and when no one is home. The rest of the time they spend occupying my couch and kitchen floor!

My momma says I have baby bubbles and we have to protect my bubbles from all the bad things so they grow big and strong and healthy. Then when they are ready to pop, we will get fat squirmy pups and then I can love them and snuggle them.

Today was a very sad, terrible, and angering day in the Great Dane World. Unfortunately I’m loosely associated with this monstrous person due to pedigree lineage. (Most tanpoints have GDO, Noah’s Ark, J”Versailles or Night Magic on their pedigree) have not however ever had any direct dealings with him. I have not bought/sold/studded nor worked with this vile person on any project.

Many people are being viciously attacked simply due to loose association. Thankfully I’m not one of them, however I am not immune from witnessing and being affected from it.

Due to some of these things, I have a lot to consider but I will not be making any rash knee jerk decisions related to my program. I have and always will keep in mind what’s best for Sovereignty Woods present and future and will strive to do everything correctly.

This situation highlights the importance of responsible breeding and the love and attention these animals deserve. As responsible pet owners and breeders, we should prioritize our dogs' well-being, from cleanliness and training to constant care and affection. I will always be open to video chats, will do frequent Facebook lives and will provide photos of our puppies. I am proud of how we take care of our dogs and won’t hesitate to prove their well being. Our own dogs are raised indoors, steal our couches and beds, and often times eat better then we do. The puppies are showered with love and care from the moment they are born and are very intentional raised until we place them in their new families arms. are whelped and raised indoors, staying indoors, and receiving the same love and care. Transparency is the name of the game!
