It is a wonderful and blessed Sunday! We just arrived home from the 2026 Wisconsin Taxidermy Championships. I'm so incredibly proud of our son, Kollin Rehwinkel. Over the last couple of months, I've watched him work so hard on his piece. From designing and composition to the initial work involved in the woodwork and copper work, and then the alterations to mounting and finish work,a ton of hours went into this beautiful piece of wildlife art. He even added a neat feature to it from his days as a landscaper - he embedded pieces of wood and built a mini flagstone-like patio theme on the back. What a neat idea! He received a high second place and even took home some hardware! His piece was chosen as the most artistic whitetail in the show, This award is , sponsored by Ohio Taxidermy Supply. Thank you for the support of our association and show! I didn't put anything together, as this is his time to shine - the next generation! My wife and I are so blessed and fortunate to have him working with us we are the father-son duo ,the everything done here we do as a team ! My business wouldn’t be anything like is with out him!
