Good luck bear hunters! Here is one I did a few years ago that I never had a chance to post. I took this bear along with a group of other mounts to our Wisconsin Taxidermy State Championships where this bear took First Place State Champion Life-Size Big Game Mount. The red fox took First Place State Champion Carnivore Game Head, and the group of all 4 mounts took Wisconsins Best All Around Taxidermist

Our daughter Alyvia mounted a black-tipped shark for her first mount and first competition. She received a first in the Junior division 🥰 She really enjoyed sanding, painting and connecting with our taxidermist friends kids at the show. She already is planning for next year 😊 Watch out for this one! She's very artistic and tenacious... Me "Alyvia, I love that we're learning taxidermy together!" This past weekend was our Wisconsin Taxidermy Association State Championships where I was able to bring a recently finished mount if a bull elk harvested by one of my customers. It was entered in the Masters Division where I received a first place plus three other awards including Taxidermist Choice Best Game Head, Head Quarters Supple Choice Award, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Award. I've been very busy the last couple years and realize I really haven't made any posts...Since it's show season I will try to get you caught up to date on the last few shows I have attended and maybe some recently finished mounts coming soon.
