With rising summer temps, it’s critical to recognize the signs of heat stroke in dogs:

🔥 Excessive panting
🤢 Vomiting
⚡ Weakness or disorientation
😴 Collapse or unresponsiveness

If you notice any of these symptoms, don’t wait — heat stroke is a life-threatening emergency. Seek veterinary care immediately.

💧 Always provide fresh water and avoid outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day.

Plumsted Animal Hospital is the place where passion and knowledge lead to comfort and healing. Located in Cream Ridge, New Jersey, we provide veterinary care to dogs and cats in Upper Freehold Township and neighboring areas. We offer a range of services including orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and diagnostic radiology.
