Albuquerque Cat Clinic Compassionate care in a feline-friendly environment. At Albuquerque Cat Clinic, we believe that the bond between cats and their caretakers is extremely special.

We also believe that protecting and preserving our feline patients’ health, both physical and mental, is essential to the continuance of this bond. We strive to continually exceed our clients’ expectations in the care and treatment of their feline companions. We recognize that visits to the veterinarian can be stressful for both cat and owner. We work diligently to provide a quiet, relaxing enviro

nment and excellent customer service in order to create an experience that is as pleasant as possible.

February is National Pet Dental Health Month! 🦷🐱

Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions (FORLs) are a common and painful dental disease in cats. They start as tiny red spots at the gumline but can progress to severe tooth destruction, as seen in this case. The cause is still unknown, and the only treatment is extraction.

Many cats with FORLs show no obvious signs of pain, so regular dental exams are key to early detection. If your cat has bad breath, drools, or avoids eating, it could be a sign of dental disease. Stay informed and keep an eye on your cat’s oral health!
