A new orally administered Bordetella vaccine will be available at this Saturday's shot clinic. Much less stressful for everyone! See details below.

‼️We're happy to share something new and improved about our clinics: We now use bordatella vaccines designed to be administered in the mouth instead of the nose. If you ever watched our volunteers struggle to get a bordatella vaccine into a dog's nose, you know dogs do not typically approve of having a stranger spray stuff up their snoot. (Who can blame them?) You also might have seen the volunteer finally give up and administered the vaccine in the mouth, which is acceptable with the nasal version and easier, but not the first choice. Our new orally administered bordatella vaccines will make the experience less stressful and quicker for the dog, the owner and our volunteers. We are currently not changing the price of bordatella vaccines. It's win-win!
Our next low-cost pet vaccination clinic is coming up in just a few days. Our vaccination prices are among the lowest in town. If your cat or dog is due for shots, you can walk in or, better yet, pre-register at Tinyurl.com/YKMYCEBM.

May's second Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic with Pawsitive Life Rescue of NM is this Saturday, May 23rd (11am-1pm), at our Cutler store's new location: 4900 Cutler Ave NE, Ste F2, between Carter's and Old Navy (same shopping center). ***Update to the update:*** Rabies vaccines will be available TODAY (5/2/2026), 5-6 PM, thanks to another vet kindly stepping in to help. (Be sure to bring proof of prior rabies vaccination!)

Update to today's Vaccine Clinic: Rabies shots will not be available due to the administering vet having an emergency this morning, however all other services will be available. Rabies vaccines have been rescheduled to May 23rd. Apologies for the inconvenience.
