Gently used items are always needed for sale at our Thrift Shop. Proceeds from your gifts benefit the pet residents in our care & your donation is tax-deductible. Donation drop-off hours: 10 am – noon Tuesday through Saturday. Please note, these hours are subject to change based on the high volume of donations accepted in our processing area. bside pickups at your home! Please call 505.938.7915 to schedule your large item pickup. While we very much appreciate the thoughtfulness of your saleable donations, we cannot accept the following: Mattresses, Sofa Sleepers, Box Style TVs, Printers, Metal Desks, Broken/Damaged Items or Building/Construction Materials. Items accepted are also subjected to Animal Humane’s staff’s discretion.

Every dollar you spend or item you donate supports Animal Humane New Mexico. Scooby can receive the care he needs so he can have a healthy and happy life. This 2-year-old mix is looking for a forever family and will even receive a free year of veterinary and behavioral support aft he is adopted thanks to AHNM's PAWS Program!

In honor of those who gave their lives in service of their country and in observance of the holiday, our Main Campus, Westside Adoption Center, and Animal Humane Thrift Shop will be closed May 25. Our regular hours will resume Tuesday, May 26.

When you've met Sol, your heart is full ❤️🐾

This adorable, 5-year-old gentleman was quite shy when he first arrived at Animal Humane New Mexico. Spending time with the Behavior Team at the shelter has helped him gain confidence. Sol is dog friendly and has quickly become a staff favorite!

When you shop at AHNM, you are helping cats and dogs like Sol get the extra support they need as they wait to be adopted into loving homes.
