Help Feliz find her joy again ❤️🐾

This sweet, extra small American Pitbull Terrier came to us with painful cherry eye, which we were able to repair during her spay surgery yesterday. However, our Veterinary Team also discovered significant neurological abnormalities. Feliz stumbles when she walks and her eyes move uncontrollably when she moves her head—a symptom of rotary nystagmus.

Feliz, and many others like her, are counting on us for a second chance. We cannot give it to them without you! We aren't kitten when we tell you how grateful we are for our Animal Care Team!

Every day they provide compassion, comfort, and care to the pets at AHNM. Processing 21 kittens and counting today, they are often the first to meet the cats and dogs in the shelter. They are the people who get to know and love the pets best before they go home to you ❤️🐾

Last year, Evolution Body Piercing raised over $5,000 for the pets of Animal Humane New Mexico and all of the dogs at their Fur Twenty Anniversary event found their homes!

On April 19, Evolution will be marking their 26th anniversary with their 2nd annual fundraiser for AHNM! They will be donating 20% of all proceeds from the day's sales at both of their locations to Animal Humane. Plus, we will have adoptable dogs at their Carlisle location from 11 am - 2 pm.

Evolution is also running a raffle, with 100% of ticket sales going to AHNM. You could win a $500 Evolution Gift Certificate, prizes from local pet-friendly vendors, T-Shirts, promo gear, and more!

The next generation of animal lovers have the purr-fect opportunity to learn this summer! Registrations for Animal Humane New Mexico's Summer Camp Humane are open.

Four, week-long summer sessions for campers ages 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, and 14-17 feature a wide range of topics and activities to teach how to care for pets and how to treat them humanely and respectfully.
