Some cats may not become perfect pets, but would make model employees. Working Cats Sweetie and Grace are looking for their next gig!

Animal Humane’s Working Cat program seeks to provide a home for cats whose temperament may not be ideal for typical pet adoption. These cats are usually former street cats who are comfortable outdoors and typically prefer little to no human contact. Like all adoptable pets at Animal Humane, Working Cats are healthy, spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. They must be provided daily food and water as well as a safe and secure place to rest.

Bright and beautiful with lots to love, our Radio Lobo Pet of the Week, Juju, is a spectacular senior who's ready for her second chance!

Juju is a lovely, 9-year-old Cattle Dog who came to Animal Humane New Mexico after her owner passed. She lived in a home since she was a puppy, able to use a dog door to spend time outside whenever she wanted. In the shelter she is playful, loves to be walked, and likes to show off her skills like, "sit" and "shake".

Juju would be best as the only dog in her household. Though affectionate and cuddly around humans, she struggles around other animals. Between that and her senior status, she might have a difficult time finding the right home. However, we won't give up on helping Juju while she waits for her forever family.

Give this sweet senior a chance at Animal Humane's Main Campus Location, 615 Virginia St. SE.

Join us on July 11th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a kitten yoga class! This will be an all-levels yoga class taught by Bliss In The City at Animal Humane New Mexico's Main Campus featuring adorable, adoptable kittens. Whether you need help grounding or letting go, they believe in you!
