Munch's Makeover 😍💞

Eleven-year-young Munch looks and feels like a brand-new pup after an incredible makeover thanks to the generosity of Groomingdales Pet Spa who graciously donated Munch's grooming and treating this sweet senior to a day of pampering. From a much-needed bath and trim to a fresh, handsome new look, Munch is feeling lighter, brighter, and ready to charm everyone he meets.

Senior dogs like Munch have so much love to give. Sometimes all they need is a little TLC to let their personalities shine. Thank you, Groomingdales, for your kindness and generosity. You helped make Munch's day—and ours, too! ❤️🐾

Daisy: Beauty, Brains, and Love 💙🤎
Daisy is a beautiful 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with striking blue and brown eyes, a gorgeous smoke-colored coat, and a heart full of love.

While shelter life can make her a little nervous, Daisy truly shines once she's out and about. She walks beautifully on leash, enjoys meeting new people, and loves nothing more than burying her head in your lap for affection. She's also a smart girl who already knows "sit" and "shake." At 71 pounds, Daisy is convinced she's a lap dog—and honestly, we think she's right. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion with beauty, brains, and plenty of cuddles to give, Daisy is waiting to meet you at the Eastside Shelter, 8920 Lomas Blvd NE ID # A1900587.

Why Is Marney Still Here? 💕🐾
Some dogs are easy to love. Marney is one of those dogs. This sweet 5-year-old pittie mix has been waiting since January for someone to notice what volunteers already know: she is absolutely wonderful. In fact, she's one of the shelter's favorite girls.

Marney is the kind of dog who makes every outing better. She walks beautifully on leash, knows "sit," takes treats gently, and loves to cuddle. Marney also has a playful spirit and knows how to have fun. Give her a kiddie pool or some water to splash in, and you'll see one very happy dog. She's the perfect combination of affectionate companion and playful best friend.

At 54 pounds, Marney is an easy size to handle and easy to adore. The hardest thing to understand is why she's still waiting. As one of the shelter's long-timers, Marney has watched so many other dogs leave for their forever homes. We would love for it to finally be her turn. Meet her today at the Albuquerque Animal Welfare Eastside Shelter, 8920 Lomas Blvd NE ID # A1937681.

Wave is Ready to Ride the Wave Home 💙
Wave is a 2-year-old mixed-breed sweetheart who checks a lot of boxes for anyone looking for an easygoing companion. At 43 pounds, she's the perfect size for adventures, road trips, and cozy nights at home.
Her former owner shared that Wave is housetrained, sleeps quietly in a crate at night, rides well in the car, and gets along with other dogs and even cats. On a recent Doggy Day Out, she showed just how wonderful she is. Wave was attentive, easy to walk, and came when called—even with exciting distractions like horses and chickens nearby. She was polite around another dog and quickly won over a 16-year-old human friend with her sweet personality.
Wave is the kind of dog who seems ready to fit right into family life. She's smart, responsive, and enjoys being with her people. Through no fault of her own, she lost her home when her family moved. Now she's hoping someone new will give her the fresh start she deserves. Spayed and ready to go home, Wave is waiting to make a splash in her forever family. 💙 Stop by and meet her at the Albuquerque Animal Welfare Eastside Shelter, 8920 Lomas Blvd NE ID # A1903603.

The Sky's the Limit with SKY ✨
Sky is a beautiful 1-year-old special mix with a playful spirit, a curious mind, and so much potential. At 57 pounds, she's the perfect adventure partner for someone looking for a young dog ready to learn and explore.
Sky loves toys, chasing balls, and discovering the world around her. While she's still polishing her skills, she's already making incredible progress. On a recent Doggy Day Out, she walked beautifully through the Bosque, rarely pulled on leash, happily accepted pets from strangers, and calmly ignored passing bicyclists. She even showed off her good manners at a local coffee shop, patiently standing in line and soaking up attention from admirers.
At home, Sky proved she's more than just an active pup. She relaxed while her volunteer worked, enjoyed a chew toy on her cushion, tolerated brushing like a champ, and never bothered shoes or countertops. She also stayed close by while helping supervise some backyard gardening.
Sky is looking for an active home that can provide continued training, consistency, and plenty of opportunities for play and enrichment. With her eagerness to learn and sweet nature, she's sure to blossom into an amazing companion. Spayed, smart, and ready for her forever family, Sky is waiting to start her next adventure. Meet her this weekend at the Albuquerque Animal Welfare Westside Shelter, 11800 Sunset Gardens Rd SW. ID # A1935700.💕

Meet Valor: Your New Shadow
If you're looking for a dog who believes the best place in the world is right next to you, meet Valor. This handsome 1-year-old neutered Shepherd mix is 52 pounds of pure devotion. He may be a little shy at first, but it doesn't take long before his affectionate personality shines through. Once he trusts you, Valor is all about closeness, cuddles, and following his favorite person everywhere they go. Personal space? Not really his thing.
Valor walks nicely on leash, knows "sit," takes treats gently, and has a wonderful foundation of manners. His previous owners reported that he's housebroken, rides well in the car, has obedience training, and is friendly and eager to please. On a recent Doggy Day Out, Valor showed just how special he is. He calmly strolled through an outdoor restaurant, relaxed at a busy coffee shop, and made new dog friends during a backyard play session. Everywhere he went, he won admirers with his sweet nature, gentle kisses, and loving gaze.
Because he can be a little reserved when meeting new people or dogs, slow introductions help him feel comfortable. Give him a little time, and you'll gain a loyal companion who will stick by your side through every adventure. Neutered, ready to go home, and overflowing with love, Valor is looking for the person he's been waiting for. Could it be you? Stop by and meet him at the Albuquerque Animal Welfare Eastside Shelter, 8920 Lomas Blvd NE ID # A1926583.
