FOR ADOPTION! Beautiful GEMMA, born 6/3/24, started out as a feral cat that the cat feeder in the neighborhood would not claim. Then she had a litter of kittens under the nextdoor neighbor’s house. That neighbor worked hard to gain skinny Gemma’s trust and it worked. Gemma is coming along quickly with help from volunteers. She’s food motivated and really likes to be petted. She has not been mean in any way and would likely really transform out of the cat room and in a home.

FOR ADOPTION! A good samaritan found GENERAL (D.O.B. 3/7/25) at a local Dollar General store. Either hit by a car or attacked by a critter, he had injuries that were handled with medication and TLC. Thankfully, nothing was serious and he's feeling great. General is a little hissy with other cats, likely from his time on the streets, but he now has a friendly female roomie and she's not taking no for an answer. He loves people and being held!

COURTESY POST! FOSTER NEEDED! Do you have feral cat experience? Can you offer a safe place for four kittens to stay until they're old enough to fix? Lisa recently moved to Norwood and was quickly introduced to the feral cat population there. She is working to spay/neuter what she can trap, but this litter of four needs a month or two more to grow and put on weight. PLEASE, if anyone out there can help, call Lisa at 614-935-5826. FOR ADOPTION! ENID, born 2/27/25, and her siblings came from a home with an unspayed female. Weeks later, she's a confident, playful girl. Adopted because of that great personality she, unfortunately, started chewing on her adopter's oxygen tubing and was returned. Like all kittens, Enid thinks most things are toys. Let's find her another great home where she can be taught to play with what is suitable.

FOR ADOPTION! VEGAS, born 4/19/25, took a ride to Concord and back in a car engine and somehow managed to survive unscathed. When her rescuers heard her, they worked to remove a few engine parts and get her out. This beauty is a little unnerved from the whole experience but is getting some much-deserved rest and good eats. ADOPTED! This one is extra special!! Wonderful DOMINO tested and re-tested positive for Feline Leukemia; he has spent weeks in confinement. The Efird family came in to adopt one kitten. Since all the other babies seemed to be literally running on high-octane fuel, it was suggested this family meet Domino. We want to thank them so much for taking a chance on an FeLV cat. This boy is the best (so are the Efirds), he's young, well and can live a long, happy life.

ADOPTED! The Cunningham family thought they wanted to add a kitten to their household. However, after visiting with all the cuties, they decided two would be better than one...especially when they're sisters. TESS and JAZZIE are two sweeties that have been through their share of health issues already. Tess' pneumonia has cleared enough that she could be adopted and Jazzie's appetite is thankfully back with a vengeance. Happy life, babies!

ADOPTED! The Barney family came in to visit after its youngest member lost her tooth; she had been promised a cat once that big event happened. Everyone interacted with various kittens, but how do you pick one? When a sweet, confident personality shines through, that's how. EPIC, the last of his litter, showed that his name fit. Updates say he's made himself very comfortable at home and everyone loves him.

They have really blossomed and love toys, wrestling with each other and running around on the catio. Bella is the quieter of the two, but both are sweet. FOR ADOPTION! Dust Bunny, born 4/1/25, was found alone in a resident's back yard. With the SCHS full, she immediately went into foster care where she has become a very playful, independent girl. She enjoys her toys, then likes having her person close when she's ready for a nap. She sleeps with her foster mom, goes on car ride adventures and is good with her litter box. ADOPTED! Sarah and her fiancee came in to visit kittens recently. After thoughtful consideration, they came back to adopt little TIA. This fun-loving girl has done well with her socialization after being born to a feral mama, and is sure to provide years of entertainment for this young couple.
