The Stanly County Sheriff's Office is proud to announce Sheriff Crisco's latest accomplishment!
The North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association Annual Business Conference has concluded! Sheriffs, sheriffs’ personnel, and other state law enforcement and government officials gathered for several days of training classes, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. The North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association Executive Committee also elected new officers during the conference, resulting in four sheriffs being elected to new offices:
President – Sheriff Ricky Buchanan, McDowell County (McDowell County Sheriff's Office, North Carolina)
First Vice President – Sheriff Clee Atkinson, Edgecombe County (Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office)
Second Vice President – Sheriff Jeff Crisco, Stanly County (Stanly County Sheriff's Office)
Third Vice President – Sheriff Chip Hughes, Craven County (Craven County Sheriff's Office)
Outgoing President Sheriff Mike Roberson of Chatham County (Chatham County Sheriff's Office-NC) will transition to the role of Chairman of the Executive Committee. Sheriff Joey Lemons of Stokes County (Stokes County Sheriff's Office) was reelected as Secretary and Sheriff Van Shaw of Cabarrus County (Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office) was reelected as Treasurer.
