This July will mark 5 YEARS that our sweet girl, Frannie, has been with us. We took Frannie in during the peak of COVID when her owner fell ill and Frannie had no where else to go. While we aren’t set up for long term boarding or fostering, we knew how difficult it would be to find Frannie a loving home on such short notice, so we decided to take over her adoption process.
Since then, Frannie has warmed up to our staff and facility amazingly well for how long she has been with us! While she might be fine living out the rest of her life with us, we really want to find her a person or two, a warm couch, and a backyard for Frannie to be able to call her own.
Frannie is an approximately 10 years old coonhound/dalmatian mix. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines.
Frannie LOVES to play, and even though she’s a senior, she still enjoys zoomies in the yard, playing fetch, play bowing, tag, and strolling about the play yard. She’s completely potty trained, crate trained, knows her basic commands (including “shake”!), is excellent for bath time (especially for paw-dicures - peep her painted toes 👀), warms up quickly to women, and has zero health concerns.
Frannie’s biggest hurdles when it has come to finding her the perfect home includes insecuries around men, children, and other pets including dogs and especially cats. For this reason, we will only consider prospective female-only homes for Frannie. She very much thrives off of a familiar routine and would love to be the center of attention with the same person or two on a daily basis.
If you’re interested in learning more about Frannie or would like to set up a meet-and-greet at our facility, please call us at 541-926-9351 or send us an email at [email protected]. We will require a meet-and-greet and trial period to ensure the perfect fit for everyone 🐶💕
Thanks to one of our amazing Handlers who took these adorable photos of Frannie playing in the sunshine today ☀️ and one of our receptionists for creating a new Frannie board for our lobby! ❤️
