While a Good Samaritan was backing her car up, she immediately stopped. A kitten had fallen out of her engine! She called OSC for help right away. By the time the OSC volunteers arrived, she and her neighbors had rescued two kittens! 🐱🐱

But one little kitten was still wedged deep inside the engine. The neighbors jacked the car up and our volunteer crawled up underneath. The OSC volunteer was able to stretch under the heat shield to get her hand on that kitten and bring it to safety! After a bath to wash off the engine grease, our brave volunteer and the kittens all settled in for the night. 🛏️🌛

Today, those kittens are safely in the care of OSC. But it’s full on kitten season, and we need your help. Please, if you can, make a donation today so we can continue caring for homeless kittens like these. 🧡

It's Kitten Season 2026 — and kittens need you!🐱

We just took in 5 homeless kittens, with many more on the way. Each one will be cared for in a loving foster home, be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped before heading off to their forever family.

🧡OSC needs your help in providing these kittens with everything they need. Vet care is our biggest expense — and your donation goes straight toward keeping these kittens healthy and ready for their happy ending.
