🎂💖 Very belated but we celebrated not only Awel's 20th birthday, but huge congratulations to Leslie Armstrong on his purchase. As my previous upper level best boy we showed extensively through I1 and most of Grand Prix, and I'd always held onto him. Leslie was leasing him and clearly they adore each other -- it really was the easiest decision. May you have many more years of happiness together! 🥂

Transport isn’t just mentally stressful for your horse — it also causes a significant loss of fluids and electrolytes, just like during intense training.

💡 That’s why it’s essential to prepare your horse properly:
✔️ Provide plenty of hay before the trip
✔️ Add an easily digestible meal, such as a mash with electrolytes
✔️ During and after travel, make sure there’s fresh water, plenty of forage, and an electrolyte supplement available

This helps your horse stay hydrated, fresh, and fit — even on the road! 🐴💧
