💔10 years old & surrendered to a high k*ll shelter with pink painted nails for “having Alzheimer’s that caused her to forget her potty training…” my heart breaks for her. Please share!!! 😭

10 year old Gracie was just surrendered for “too sick for owner to care for” and that Gracie “has Alzheimer’s which has caused her to forget her potty training.” She is cat, dog, & kid friendly (ideally no small kids in future home due to her possible mental state & small size), spayed, & super scared in the shelter. Her nails are painted pink. She’d do best in a quiet, chill home that can provide the consistent care she needs. The shelter doesn’t give ANY deadlines & she can end up unalived whenever as she’s a senior & shelter is filling back up very rapidly..

🙏🏼Need capable adopter to go in person or local foster in DFW / East Texas & reputable rescue to back! Shelter doesn’t have a foster program. Fostering is free through a rescue organization. All supplies are provided & expenses covered (by most orgs).

💰Shelter adoption fee is $27.50, which includes mandatory rabies vax & microchip. She’s already spayed. Dogs get 1 round of bordetella & DAPPv upon intake.

🩷If you want to foster for a rescue in DFW until adoption, please message The Dogs Need Our Help & I’ll connect you with a reputable rescue.
