Meet this week's pet features: Lilly and Sammie!
We love seeing these sweet girls and are so glad they found their forever home!
Below is their story told by their new-found family:
"The Roach family, Steve, Norine and Ryan, are a long time rescue family that works closely with Bissell Pet Foundation. Most recently, they adopted two new family members, Sammie and Lilly. Sammie, 6 years old, spent her whole life in a cage as a breeding mom in Missouri. She is enjoying her new life as a family dog, lapping up kisses, hugs, treats, walks, and car rides. She especially enjoys her "lambies" and other chew toys that provide comfort and security in her new home.
Lilly, 7 months, is an absolute bundle of energy that provides hours of entertainment (and exhaustion!) for Ryan. Lilly came to Bissell Pet Foundation from Louisiana with a broken leg when she was about 9 weeks old, but has recovered nicely and continues to bring a smile to all who meet her! She is exceptionally smart and enjoys learning new things, and getting lots of love and attention."
