😭 BLOODY P**P ! Is this Coccidiosis?

Farmers, look at these 2 photos. This is how I lost 100 chicks in my first batch before I learned the secret.

PHOTO 1: White chick sleeping standing, ruffled feathers, BLOODY p**p on ground.
PHOTO 2: Brown Sasso hunched, tail down, dirty vent.

This is COCCIDIOSIS - the silent killer Day 7-21. It spreads through WET LITTER. One chick p**ps, others eat it, then all die.

HOW I NOW RAISE 1000 CHICKS WITH ZERO DEATHS:

1️⃣ DRY LITTER DAILY: I remove wet litter around drinkers every morning. I use coffee , NOT straw. 2-3 inches thick.

2️⃣ RAISE DRINKERS: I put drinkers on a brick, at back-height. No more p**p in water!

3️⃣ PREVENT ON DAY 8: I add Amprolium in water Day 8-12 for 5 days. I don't wait to get sick. (Ask your vet for dose)

4️⃣ NO OVERCROWDING: 1000 chicks = 25 square meters. If crowded, heat + p**p = death.

5️⃣ ISOLATE FAST: See one hunched? Remove it NOW. Change all litter.

I learned the hard way so you don't have to. My Sasso are now Day 21, 0 deaths.

From my farm - I will tell you the truth. Not promoting Uzima chicken company but

I have kept local, Kuroiler and broilers. Sasso F1 from Uzima is different.

A customer told me: _"It is doing wonders on my farm compared to other breeds"_ — and that is exactly what I see.

This bird was made for smallholder farmers like us. It was originally bred in France in 1978 but it loves Ugandan weather.

But At 1 month, already strong and vaccinated. You take them, they grow FAST. At 3 months you can sell at 1,200 to 1,800/- meat market or keep the females for eggs.

If you want birds that give you profit, not stress — this is it.

🐥 BROODING TEMPERATURE BY AGE | Every Farmer Must Know!

Many chicks die in first 4 weeks due to WRONG temperature!

Here is the CORRECT guide:

🔥 DAY 1-7: 32-35°C
Chicks are day-old, keep very warm under heat lamp

🐤 WEEK 2: 29-32°C
Chicks more active, reduce heat a little

🐔 WEEK 3: 26-29°C
Feathers starting, reduce more

✅ WEEK 4: 23-26°C
Nearly feathered, less heat needed

IMPORTANT TIP:
👉 Reduce temperature GRADUALLY
👉 Huddling together = Too COLD
👉 Panting & spreading away = Too HOT / Overheating

Many farmers lose layers to Newcastle because they skip vaccination or do it wrong.

In this video, I'm giving Newcastle vaccine via EYE DROP method - the most effective way for layers:

✅ Why eye drop? 100% sure each bird gets the dose, no waste in water.
