🎬🐾 LIGHTS, CAMERA… DOGS! 🐶🎥

Today we welcomed the BTEC Business & Digital Marketing students from HeadStart International School Chaofah City Campus to Canine Point Academy for a very special filming session!

The students are working on this term's digital marketing project, creating promotional content for CHOW Pet Foods' upcoming Howl-O-Ween for Happy Doggo charity event. 🎃🐶

And what better place to film a dog-themed charity campaign than somewhere full of dogs? 😂🐾

Although, we have to say… there did seem to be a little more dog petting, cuddling and hugging going on than actual filming! 😂❤️

But honestly, who can blame them? When you're surrounded by so many adorable furballs, it's pretty hard to concentrate on anything else!

It was fantastic to see the students getting hands-on experience, putting their creative ideas into action and learning what goes into producing real marketing content for a real event supporting a fantastic cause.

A huge thank you to HeadStart International School for coming along, and to Shark 13 for organising the visit and helping bring the project together. ❤️

We absolutely love seeing young people getting creative, developing new skills and supporting the local community at the same time.

Now comes the exciting part…

🎬 What will they create?
🐶 Which dogs will steal the show?
🎃 And did anyone actually remember to press RECORD between all those cuddles? 😂

We can't wait to see the finished videos!

🐾💙 EYE SPY… SOMETHING VERY COOL! 👀🐶

Say hello to ARGUS, who recently came to stay with us at Canine Point Academy!

Now, we always thought those amazing bright blue eyes were something you mostly saw on Huskies or Border Collies…

But check out Argus! 😍

One gorgeous blue eye and one darker eye. How cool is that?!

It's a condition called heterochromia, where the eyes have different colours. And in Argus's case, it makes an already super-cute pooch look even more special! 💙🐾

We love meeting all the different personalities who come to stay with us, but Argus certainly knows how to make an entrance.

With a look like that, who needs a fancy Instagram filter? 😂📸

Argus, you are one seriously cool little furball! ❤️

🐾😂 IF EVER A DOG WAS PERFECTLY NAMED… MEET SCRUFF! ❤️🐶

Seriously, if anyone can find a name that suits a dog better than this, we'd love to hear it!

This is Scruff.

And well… SCRUFF is SCRUFF! 😂❤️

With that wonderfully scruffy look, bundles of personality and a face that's impossible not to love, we reckon his humans absolutely nailed the naming process.

Some dogs are called Prince. Some are called Princess. Some have names that sound like they belong to royalty.

And then there's Scruff. 😂🐾

No explanation needed. No fancy introductions. Just one absolutely adorable furball doing what he does best — being Scruff!

We love Scruff ❤️

Sometimes, all a dog needs is someone to give them a chance. ❤️

Meet Roxy, one of two amazing rescue dogs who joined us during our recent Canine Point Academy Train the Trainer course.

Alongside her fellow rescue dog Kaya, Roxy has been working with our students, learning new skills, building confidence and showing everyone just how incredible shelter dogs can be.

And what a superstar she's been! 🌟🐾

Our students have been learning how to become professional dog trainers, while Roxy and Kaya have been getting valuable training to help prepare them for the most important next step of all…

FINDING THEIR FOREVER HOMES! 🏡❤️

Both dogs have made fantastic progress, and we're so proud of how far they've come.

This is Roxy. She's an amazing dog with so much love to give, and now we're hoping someone out there will give her the happy ending she deserves.

Because rescue dogs aren't second-best dogs. They're simply wonderful dogs waiting for their second chance. 🐶❤️

Could Roxy be your new best friend?

If you're interested in adopting Roxy, please get in touch with us or Bodhi Shelter to find out more.

And keep an eye out, we'll be introducing you to the equally wonderful Kaya too!

Let's help find these two superstars their forever homes! 🐾❤️
