New fry just added to the Quarantine tanks, super lively.

Yesterday evening we took delivery of 20,000 3cm Grouper Fry and stocked them into our enlarged and modified quarantine system. We will grow them out for 3+ weeks and then will be selling domestically and internationally to sea cage farmers.

Today we moved our test batch of Coral Trout (Plectropomus leopardus) to our sea cages. Growth rate in our RAS system is pretty much as we suspected so we will definitely be looking at full scale commercial production of this species of grouper in the near future.

Today (after a long wait) we received our container with the new feed production line. Unpacked with the help of our crane guys, and ready to start finishing off the warehouse so we can fire up the line and start to make our custom feed formula. If anyone is interested in slow sinking (or floating) high quality feed, feel free to give us a call. We will be producing 1mm to 16mm pellets.

On Friday 24th we took delivery of 5000 3.5cm grouper, the smallest yet but hopefully not for long. Fingers crossed, but so far so good. We have a new quarantine protocol in place so hopefully mortality will be low.
