🐾 Arthritis Isn't Just "Old Age"
"He's just slowing down because he's getting old."
We hear this often, but many senior dogs slow down because of arthritis-related pain and stiffness.
Because dogs can't tell us when they're uncomfortable, the signs can be subtle:
🐾 Hesitating before jumping up
🐾 Difficulty getting up after resting
🐾 Slower walks
🐾 Reluctance to climb stairs
🐾 Changes in mood or irritability
Many dog parents assume these changes are simply part of getting older. But in many cases, they're signs that your dog may be living with discomfort.
The good news? Early recognition makes a difference.
With the right support, many dogs with arthritis can remain active, comfortable, and enjoy a much better quality of life.
Because growing older shouldn't mean living in discomfort. ❤️
Have you noticed any of these signs in your dog?
