It's Caturday!

Our shelter is overflowing with kittens, mama cats, seniors, and cats who have been surrendered or left behind. While we're always grateful for donations to help refill our supplies, we're also searching for loving forever homes for these beautiful felines. ❤️

Kitten season has arrived in Vieques — and it doesn't wait.
Tiny kittens are showing up at our doors needing food, formula, warmth, and in some cases, round-the-clock care just to survive those first critical days. We need to be ready before the rush hits.
That's why we're launching the VHS Kitten Shower

Cada día llegan gatitos pequeñitos a nuestras puertas necesitando comida, fórmula, calor, y en muchos casos, cuidado las 24 horas para sobrevivir esos primeros días tan críticos. Tenemos que estar listos antes de que llegue lo más fuerte de la temporada.

Maya is a beautiful young girl, just over a year old, who was found wandering the streets of Vieques. Like many dogs searching for food, safety, and attention, she found herself in a difficult situation. Thankfully, she is now safe with us and getting the chance she deserves.

Since arriving at the Humane Society, Maya has blossomed into a happy, healthy, and loving companion. She has been spayed, vaccinated, medically cared for, and is up to date on everything she needs to start her next chapter.

She absolutely loves people and enjoys being part of the action. She is a young dog with plenty of enthusiasm for life and is currently learning all the basics, including leash walking and simple commands. She is eager to learn and loves having fun while doing it.

If you're looking for an active, affectionate companion with a playful personality and just the right amount of spark, Maya may be the perfect match. She would thrive with an adopter who enjoys adventures, walks, playtime, and helping a young dog continue to grow into an amazing family member.
