BIEKE & BORINQUEN ARE STILL WAITING

Two brothers. Two sweet boys. Two lives waiting for someone to say, “You’re coming home.” ❤️

Bieke and Borinquen are 3–4-month-old Husky/Pittie mixes who were part of an unwanted litter of six. Their siblings have found their chances, but these two boys are still waiting.

They are at that perfect age to learn, grow, and become amazing family companions. They love the water, love cuddles, and are ready to soak up all the love and attention they can get.

They didn’t ask to be born without a home. They’re just waiting for someone to give them a chance.

BIEKE Y BORINQUEN TODAVÍA ESTÁN ESPERANDO

Dos hermanitos. Dos niños dulces. Dos vidas esperando que alguien diga: “Te vas para casa conmigo.” ❤️

Bieke y Borinquen son dos cachorros machos de 3–4 meses, mezcla de Husky y Pittie. Formaban parte de una camada no deseada de seis cachorros. Sus hermanitos ya tuvieron su oportunidad, pero estos dos todavía esperan por la suya.

Están en la edad perfecta para aprender, crecer y convertirse en excelentes compañeros de familia. Les encanta el agua, los cariños y, sobre todo, los abrazos.

Ellos no pidieron nacer sin un hogar. Solo están esperando que alguien les dé una oportunidad.

Chipo is a sweet Chihuahua mix who was found roaming in a very low-income community with an apparent tail injury. Unfortunately, part of his tail had to be removed, but that hasn’t slowed this little guy down one bit!

Chipo is one of the happiest little dogs we have at the shelter. He is neutered, up to date on his medical care, and fully recovered from his tail surgery. Now, all he needs is a loving home to call his own.

Like a typical Chihuahua, Chipo can be a little shy and skittish when meeting new people. He doesn’t appreciate forced affection right away. Give him a little time and let him come to you, and once he does… you’ll have a little cuddle bug who will give you all the love in the world. ❤️

If you’re looking for a small companion with a big personality, Chipo is your guy!

Chipo es una dulce mezcla de Chihuahua que fue encontrado vagando en una comunidad de bajos recursos con una aparente herida en su cola. Lamentablemente, tuvieron que removerle parte de su colita, ¡pero eso no le ha quitado ni un poquito de su felicidad!

Chipo es uno de los perritos pequeños más alegres que tenemos en el refugio. Está castrado, al día con todos sus cuidados médicos y ya se ha recuperado de su cirugía de cola. Ahora solo está esperando encontrar una familia que lo quiera para siempre.

Como buen Chihuahua, puede ser un poquito tímido y nervioso cuando conoce a alguien nuevo. No le gusta que lo obliguen a recibir cariño de inmediato. Dale un poco de tiempo y deja que él se acerque a ti. Cuando lo haga, ¡prepárate para recibir todos los mimos y el amor del mundo! ❤️

Dolly has left us with some much-needed rain…

And we here at VHS it's raining in LOTS of kittens! Our feline area is overflowing with adorable kittens and teenage cats who are all hoping for a chance at a loving forever home.

Can’t adopt locally? We can also fly cats to their new homes depending on where you are located.

We’re also looking for Flight Angels and volunteers who can spend some time with our cats and help give them the love and attention they deserve.
