A blocked male cat is a life-threatening medical emergency requiring immediate veterinary intervention, often fatal within 24–48 hours if untreated. Symptoms include straining in the litter box with little/no urine, painful vocalizing, vomiting, and hiding. Treatment involves sedation, catheterization, IV fluids, and hospitalization to clear the obstruction and manage toxins
