FIRST DETECTION IN ILOILO PROVINCE?
Patient C: hindlimb pain and picky eater
Was diagnosed in a clinic in Iloilo city with blood parasite years ago but we didn’t have the previous kits and medications.

Cleared CBC, Cleared Blood chemistry with slightly elevated globulins only and was cleared (NEGATIVE PATHOGEN) earlier with Babesia canis, Babesia gibsoni, Ehrlichia spp and Anaplasma spp.
Doc lei requested for 3 way in depth testing because she was so sure something was not right...
After 1.5 hours of waiting... We have our 1st Mycoplasma + Rickettsia + patient
What is Mycoplasma–Rickettsia–Hepatozoon Complex?
These are tiny blood parasites that can silently affect your pet’s red blood cells, immunity, and overall health. Even if your pet tested negative for Babesia, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma, but still appears anemic, weak, or sickly, or no clinical signs at all there could be other blood parasites hiding—like Mycoplasma or Hepatozoon—that regular test kits don’t catch.
🔬 There’s currently no rapid test kit for these parasites—but we can now consider PCR testing to detect them more accurately.
💉 Don’t ignore unexplained anemia, fever, weight loss, or weakness—especially in pets with tick exposure or past parasite history.
