โ ๏ธ HEAT ALERT: ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ โ๏ธ๐ฅต
A friendly reminder to all our clients and pet owners:
With the heat index possibly reaching 45โ47ยฐC, extreme heat like this can quickly lead to heatstroke, for both people and pets.
๐พ Our pets rely on us to keep them safe, and this weather can be especially dangerous for them.
๐ง Here are simple things you can do to help your pets stay cool and safe:
โข Provide unlimited access to clean, fresh water
โข Keep them in a cool, shaded, and well-ventilated area (preferably indoors)
โข Avoid walks during peak heat hours (10 AMโ4 PM)
โข Never leave pets inside parked cars, even for a minute
โข Use cooling mats, damp towels, or fans
โข Give cool (not ice-cold) baths when needed
๐จ Watch for signs of heatstroke:
- Excessive
- Panting
- Drooling
- Vomiting
- Weakness or collapse
If you notice any of these signs, seek veterinary care immediately.
Letโs all stay alert, stay hydrated, and protect our furry family members during this extreme heat. ๐ถ๐ฑ๐
