We have two weekly private lesson slots available for next term, 4pm on Thursday and 2pm on Sunday. These lesson slots are open to any age and ability.

We also have spaces in our 11am Saturday pony group (must be of similar ability to the others in this group)

We are now taking bookings for our July Holiday Programme 🐴 🙌🏼✨

The perfect way to get the kids outside in nature these holidays, learning new skills and having fun! 🌲🏇🍃

🐎 9am - 3pm, $150 per day
🐎 Book as many days as you like
🐎 No experience needed!

Each day will consist of:
🐎 1 riding lesson
🐎 Games and activities
🐎 Daily pony care & handling

**Ohariu Valley Riding Club Winter Dressage Series 2025 **

Entries are now open for our first instalment - Sunday 22 June. This event is open to all ADULT riders 18 and over.

We are offering two tests per level (Levels 0, 1 and 2) and remember these are the new OVRC 2024 tests (links to test at the end of the entry form).

Tests are just $10 each for OVRC members, and $20 each for non-members and must be paid in full before the closing date to confirm entry.

Entries close 9pm Thursday 19 June.
Payments to be made online by closing date to the OVRC bank account 02-0560-0020528-00 (Please include 'Dressage' and your name as a reference)

Ribbon placings on the day up to 6th place with Champion and Reserve Champion for the series awarded at the AGM.

Everyone that has a lesson booked today, please check your emails! We are cancelling ALL lessons today as we need to remove 3 huge trees that came down last night. The yard will be full of big, loud machinery to remove the trees, so the horses will enjoy a day off today instead!

We are so grateful to all of our amazing customers who love riding with us at CEC, some of you may have noticed that we are completely booked out this week, and our weekends are fully booked until July 😯 And no, our booking system is not broken 😜🫣😂 We will not take on any extra lessons than what we have available for the sake of our beautiful horses. Our horses are happy, healthy and sound for a good reason. Again we are so thankful to all of our customers, you may need to plan ahead when booking lessons but rest assured the horses will be happy to see you! 💕

We are back!! First day of Term 2 tomorrow 👏🏻

What better way to kick off a new term than with an wine and cheese night?! 🍾 stocks brands such as Kask, Parlanti and Incrediwear to name just a few, so come on down and check out their beautiful range of helmets, boots, bits etc whilst tasting some beautiful Paddy Borthwick wine.
