When the temperature drops, it's easy to forget about how much water our horses are drinking. But staying hydrated is just as important in winter, and some horses may drink less when the weather is cold.

A handy tip is to check their water troughs every morning to ensure they haven't frozen over on colder mornings.

And... did you know that many of our feeds can be fed as a mash? This is a fantastic way to get more water into your horse during the colder months, while also giving them a warm and tasty meal to enjoy.
