Barley
148cm | 9yo | Crossbred | Mare

Barley arrived with us two weeks ago to find her new home and we have really enjoyed getting to know her.

She has dabbled in a wee bit of everything and been a great all rounder for her previous owners;

Showjumping - competed up to 70cm, jumping higher at home.

Hunting - Been to lots of training hunts and jumped spars, and also been out on the field gating.

Showing - Wins and placings at A&P Shows.

She’s good to hack out, can be wary of new things (big trucks/farm machinery) but is not silly just likes to have a look.

She has been easy to deal with for teenage riders here, to ride/gear/catch etc.

Her current family have made the tough decision that she is not quite the right fit for their family/experience levels currently and maybe a wee bit greener than needed for their 10yo daughter.

We feel Barley would excel in a knowledgable home, she’s got a great brain, willing attitude and would be a great pony to produce up the levels, or continue to be a super all rounder for a family.

Fun wee mare looking for her new home.

She has been a great first pony for a student of mine, who has now sadly outgrown her.

Safe, fun, all rounder, who has done a variety of things in her life. Not a complete beginners ride, she appreciates a kid with kind hands, but great for a rider with the basics established, more woah than go, enjoys a variety in her work.

Enjoys her jumping, we had her out to a PC jumping day when she was here to sell two years ago and she was super.

She has joined in with lessons and pony camps here too.

We have recently started Moxie under saddle, and unfortunately due to a change in owners circumstances she is sadly looking for a new home.

Super young horse, with a great brain and movement. We have found her very willing with a trainable nature.

She is happily walk, trot, cantering under saddle and we have popped her over a couple of jumps on the lunge, where she shows some talent!

She has hacked out here down the road, and on the laneways and been great.

Although kind and quiet, she is still very green, low milage, young horse who is new to her ridden career.

Hamish is a delight to have around, and has quickly become a favourite around here!

In his time here he has been out hacking down the roads, ridden in the arena and around the property, jumped including a small course, pony club games, obstacle course and also had a variety of riders on him.

He has been great to deal with, easy for kids to handle, tack up, brush, pick out feet etc. He does love his food, so would sn**ch at the grass on the lead if he could get away with it, or nibble if he smells food on you, but is in no way nasty about it.

He has been a great lead rein pony for his current family, and has been super off the lead here adjusting himself to the level of rider.

He can have the occasional cheeky moment when off the lead but otherwise is a very fun wee pony to have around!

He's been successful in the show ring in the past qualifying for HOY, as well as being a reliable all rounder; pony club, dressage days, a&p and pony club shows.

Great fun wee pony who is looking for his new home 🏠
