Mea had a great day playing with Arlo, Fern and Mr Purkins before crashing on the couch, munching on her yummy chews and catching some z's.

Hi, I’m Alex, the face (and heart!) behind The Visiting Vet Nurse 💙

I’m a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse with over 11 years of experience, and my passion is helping pets live their happiest, healthiest lives, whether that’s through in-home nursing care, behaviour consults, puppy education, or simply a nail trim!

The Visiting Vet Nurse was created with one goal in mind, to provide compassionate, professional, and low-stress pet care right in your home. From ear cleans, a**l gland expressions and microchipping to post-op care and palliative support, I’m here for creatures big and small.

I also run a range of fun, supportive group classes, for Puppies, dogs, kids and owners

Every service and class is built around kindness, confidence, and education — for both pets and people 🐾

Now, as we’re about to reach 2,000 amazing followers, I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to all my wonderful clients. Your ongoing support, referrals, and kind words mean the world to me. 🥹💕

🐾 Price List Refresh – New Services & Tiny Tweaks! 🐾

Hey amazing pet parents!

It’s time for a little refresh! I've updated my price list with a couple of small changes, nothing too wild, just a gentle nudge to help keep things running smoothly (and the truck fuelled, the pets spoiled, and the tummy full).

As of this financial year I am now GST registered. Listed prices are ex gst.

There are also a few new services now available, which I’m super excited to offer! Whether it’s for your nervous pup, your sassy senior cat, or your herd of furballs, there’s something new for everyone.

A quick heads-up about payments:
🗓️ Payment is due on the day of service
✅ Eftpos, cash, and internet banking are accepted
📧 If you're one of my lovely long-term clients with invoicing already arranged, nothing changes there!
