With the show season nearly wrapped up — aside from the upcoming 50th Birthday Show in Dunedin on 13 September — the Cuddle Corner crew spent the arvo at Ashford Retirement Village and Care Home in Prebbleton, sharing our furry family with the residents.

Nala was in her element, loving every moment on the bench, while Bella stayed home getting acquainted with Ace 😏😉

There’s something incredibly special about watching the residents’ faces brighten as they cuddle and pat the cats. It fills my heart every single time ❤️

WOW — what an unforgettable, show‑stopping day for Cindux Maine C***s at the Canterbury All Breeds Cat Club show in West Melton yesterday.

Cindux Giggle McDimples (Nala) took home Supreme LH Entire Kitten, while Cindux Slinky Dog took home Supreme LH N/S Kitten.

Bella has also received a new title of ‘Champion’ Highglow Midnight Arabella 🩷

🐈‍⬛ A supreme Award is a top-tier honor given to the best exhibits in major categories (such as Longhair, Shorthair, Domestic, or Companion Cat/Kitten) so to say I am stoked is an understatement 🐈‍⬛

Cindux Maine C***s also received a total of 7 Breeders Awards of Merit…. 2 for Nala and 5 for Slinky Dog which makes me super proud of my breeding program and tells me I am doing something right!

A massive thank you to my incredible helpers over the weekend, from the social gatherings with a heap of laughs to the hard yards of setting up and packing away, we truly couldn’t have done it without you x 😘

A huge mention to Cindux P Mrs Potato Head (Mini) for guest starring in the Cuddle Corner and rocking it in style like a true champion she is 💚

Today has been a mix of good and heartbreaking. I had to make the awful decision to put my oldest domestic cat to sleep. Ricco was a real trooper, and he will be deeply missed by my family, our other domestic cats and my Maine C***s. He’ll remain forever in all of our hearts💙
