This sweet boy was rescued from Tauranga and is now in foster care through The Dog Rescue Project

He’s loving life with his foster mum while he waits for desexing on Friday, and soon, his forever family.

Happy Sunday Coasties!

Just a quick heads up from the salon - we are heading into our busiest time of year! 🎄🐶

Here’s what you need to know:

Appointments are filling fast. If you’re on a 6-week schedule, Christmas is only two grooms away (yes, really!). It pays to book ahead now to lock in your pre-holiday slot before things get too wild and there is a waitlist.

The phone’s been buzzing off the hook! We absolutely love chatting with you, but our hands are usually full of bubbles and blow dryers. Booking online is the easiest way to grab your spot without waiting on the line.

We’re also hiring!

We’re looking for an extra pair of hands - someone to help with washing/drying and admin. Perfect for school hours, casual or part-time, and days are flexible. If you or someone you know would love to work with pups all day, please email Sarah at [email protected] with your resume and a cover letter.

Thanks as always for trusting us with your furry family members, we can’t wait to make them look (and smell) amazing this summer!

Meet Flynn, the 8 year old Lowchen.

Flynn has just come into The Dog Rescue Project (formerly Chained Dog Rehabilitation) care, an organisation that we have been supporting and working with for years. We don't charge for our services on new dogs first grooms that come through The Dog Rescue Project as a way to give back to the community & take care of the dogs who need grooming the most.

As you can see, he had to have a pretty short cut because his coat was not in very good shape but now he's looking (and likely feeling) a million bucks 🤩

Flynn is a very sweet boy, and we have no doubt he will find a new home soon!

K9 Groomers is on the lookout for a paw-some experienced dog groomer to join our team!

Whether you're after full-time or part-time work, we've got space on the grooming table for you.

What we’re looking for:

🐾 At least 2 years of hands-on grooming experience (no apprentices or newbies this time, sorry!)
🐾 Someone who knows their way around a pair of clippers and a squirmy Spaniel
🐾 A team player with great vibes and a love for dogs of all shapes and personalities
🐾 Reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for making dogs look and feel their best
