Orewa Veterinary Hospital

Orewa Veterinary Hospital Across our three hospitals we have skilled and dedicated vets and nurses who thrive on providing your pet with the best health care.

Orewa Vet Centre has been established in the Hibiscus Coast community since the late 1970's under the initial ownership of Ivan Fuyala and more recently Brett Finlayson, who purchased the clinic in early 2004. After being on the corner of Red Beach Rd for many years the clinic moved to it's present location in Moenui Ave in 1991. This new clinic was purpose built with ample car parking outside, a

large airy reception area, two large consultation rooms, a dedicated surgical room and a large recovery / hospital area. Being established in a growing community for as long as we have has given us the chance to become part of people's families, We are now serving the children of original clients and their families. Our clinic has a great family feel, with all of the staff having children at varying stages of life, from toddlers to adults with children of their own. Pop into the clinic and meet us face to face, we are always happy to welcome newcomers to our clinic family. We have our sister clinics in Millwater and Manly also.

Wet weather can mean muddy adventures and soggy paws, but constant moisture can also lead to skin irritation and discomfort for pets.

Licking paws, redness between the toes or irritated skin can all be signs your pet’s skin is struggling with the extra dampness. Drying paws thoroughly after walks and keeping bedding warm and dry can help prevent problems before they start.

👉 Concerned about your pet’s skin or paws this season? Call our knowledgeable team on (09 426 5407).
