We believe using the right products is just as important as the welfare and care we provide to our guests. Cats are sensitive. Harsh chemicals can cause respiratory issues, skin issues and make the area uncomfortable for them to be in if it smells strongly of cleaning products. Also cats can be smelly! If anyone has had a litterbox in their house they will know how a cat can clear a room after using it, having multiple litterboxes/cats in a space means smell can be one of the most constant jobs to keep on top of. It’s a fine balance between finding a product that kills pathogens, is good for the environment, cats don’t find offensive and also destroys odours. I have used a range of products over the years and I always come back to using odarid, a 2 part cleaning system that ticks all our boxes, including being made right here in New Zealand

Tiger is the cat of the week this week! After a few days settling in she was confident to go exploring. Plenty of room for her things in the premium suite 🙂

As a surprise bonus… the guests today enjoyed watching Bandit the Bearded Dragon get some sun on the lawn. He’s sort of like a cat… with scales

Our outdoor catio / playground is now open for business. All guests will enjoy daily use of this purpose-built pad that is attached to the indoor facility.

We are not finished decorating/painting, but we were just too excited to not share this new feature
