I am a qualified and experienced veterinary nurse offering a pet care service to the Kerikeri & Waipapa area. I provide home visits for:- pet minding, nail trims, dog walking and feline grooming. I have worked in vet clinics for over thirty years in the Auckland area. Two of those clinics were feline only vet clinics. I have also managed three catteries that were attached to the vet clinics I wor

ked at. In Auckland and Helensville where I lived for most of my life, I have run a pet minding and cat grooming service. For many years, I've enjoyed owning and breeding Boxer dogs. My second Boxer child's name was "Scarlet Runner," who I have named my business after. I have a genuine love of animals and enjoy working with them every day.

The Cocker Spaniel

This extremely delicious breed of dog originated from Spain and was used as a hunting dog. They are extremely prey driven dogs thanks to their incredible sense of smell. They make great sniffers!
Some were later imported into England as far back as the 14th century..... Cocker Spaniels are medium sized, well balanced, intelligent & sweet natured dogs. They are a high energy breed & need to have lots of mental stimulation & the ability to run. Their coats can be high maintenance with constant brushing, combing, clipping & washing needed on a regular basis.... So if you're thinking of letting one into your family, take the time to look into what their needs are 1st.

OLDER CATS STILL NEED THEIR EXERCISE! Even though Mum & Dad are away, Flynn still gets to go out on his morning outdoor walk round the house when I come to visit him. Good boy Flynny! 🐾

Just a couple of small obstacles along our walk today after a bit of a stormy start to the Easter weekend yesterday. All Keri flights in & out were cancelled so lots of disruption to our local travellers...Looks like Air NZ are pretty much flying again today. Hopefully we can all have a safe & Happy Easter now ✨️🐣

I get to hang out a lot in my customer's incredible gardens here in the North. This season I've seen plenty of Swan plants about but hardly any Monarch caterpillars. This little guy had an entire plantation all to himself

Catching up with this super affectionate & delightful stripey boy & the rest of his feline family is always such a joy, when Mum & Dad are away. I think he'd almost lost an eye at one stage amongst other things, but thanks to his amazing Mum & Dad he's never looked back 🐈

Gee the old sign up at Rainbow Falls is looking a bit tatty these days! Considering it's one of the most popular spots in the area for visitors to see....it's a real shame too that there's not a sign asking visitors to take away their rubbish, especially as there's no rubbish bin anywhere. Would be good if Council could address it 😅

Meet my youngest new customer. It was such a pleasure getting to meet him & his Mum yesterday. He was extremely brave for his very 1st nail trim... Get them used to having their nails handled from a very young age. 🐾
