We're two weeks on and overdue for a little Pirate Petey update.

So many of you donated to help change this little fella's life for the better. And you have!

Petey had his damaged eye removed on the 20th and all looked to be going well. Unfortunately, a week on he developed some complications. He saw Dr. Aunty Sally on the Wednesday, and then on this Friday just gone, he was back on the surgical table for a second surgery to flush the eye socket, remove any damaged tissue and then sew him up again. Just in time for the long weekend!

Thankfully, he's healing beautifully and everything seems back on track for him.

He's still a wee way away from being adoption ready (he'll be advertised when he is, please don't enquire before hand - absolutely anything could happen between now and then) but he's on the way to having a happily ever after because of you. Thank you!
