Meet the beautiful boys! Bonded brothers seek a fabulous forever home together. They are both equally affectionate, lap up attention and are quiet and gentle souls. They are not bothered at all at being over loved here at the Shelter!

18 months old and in excellent health, they love spending their days moving from one fluffy snuggly bed to the next.

They are fine with other cats, older kids ok.

🌸 NZCAR Registered
🌸 Up to date with flea/worming treatments
🌸 Adoption is $250 each to adopt.

The boys are at the Paws 4 Life Charitable Trust Shelter in Glenview.

Please note, it is never first come, first served. Appointments are made and they are then adopted to the right home for them.

Hello Spring……and every animal rescue gets an eye twitch! Why? Because out of control breeding with kittens and cats, both those that have homes and those that are stray, starts with vengeance.

Now is the time to take action. That stray cat that has been hanging around for a while, now is the time to get it sorted in just a few easy steps.

1. Take a photo and advertise on your local community pages and the various lost & found pages.

2. Ask your neighbours if it is safe to do so.

3. Take the cat to your nearest vet clinic and their wonderful staff can scan for a microchip. If they have a microchip, they may be able to go home. No cost and no appointment needed. It takes just a few seconds.

4. If no owner located after 7 days from advertising, please contact us and we can arrange to bring the kitten/cat into care.

As a rescue, we do have processes we need to follow.

We cannot take in non-socialised/non-friendly animals.

Each situation is uniquely different to the next, so please do reach out to see if we can set up a plan.

Meet beautiful Frida 🩷 Frida is 9 years old and recently lost her mum. So she has found herself in the Shelter and is need of a loving home.

Frida is really, really affectionate, a friendly little soul, in saying that she also sleeps underneath her bed, so we very much celebrate her when she figures out to sleep on her bed!

A lovely quiet home full of love is what will suit her best. She is in great health and she has just had a full dental done too.

Meet Charlie! Due to a change in circumstances in his home, Charlie is in need of a new forever home. He is Ragdoll/Birman X, 10 years old and in great health.

Now don’t be dazzled by Charlie’s beauty, he is on the search for just the right home. Charlie’s love language is a lot! It took us a good few weeks to work out how best to care for Charlie and now that the team has, Charlie is a happy, settled, easy going cat.

Charlie would suit a quiet home. No kids, other cats or dogs. Once he is settled and you both know each other well, you could add to your home. He is fine in the Shelter with the other cats, no issues there, but to get the best out of Charlie in a new home, just start with Charlie.

Charlie is vocal, loves a good chat. It will come across as cranky chatter, but we now know it is not cranky talk, this is just Charlie.

He arrived matted to the skin which would have caused him distress, so he has been clipped off here and there, but his coat will grow back beautifully.

Meet Pixie.

Retirement home sought for the sweetest nana cat! Pixie is 14 years old and is a Devon Rex. Pixie has had 2 homes in her life where she was very much loved.

Yes, she is 14 years old, but she is vibrant, loving, affectionate, a lover of fine food and is very easy going with everyone she meets.

Pixie has had a full dental in 2024 and her current teeth require a few dental biscuits a day to keep them looking and feeling good.

Pixie also has two bumps (1 big, 1 small), these have been veterinary checked multiple times and are ok as they are. Pixie also comes with her full veterinary history.

There is no adoption fee for Pixie. She is what she is, 14 years old, a couple of lumps and a brilliant temperament.

Pixie is asking for a retirement home, a forever home, preferably a home experienced with her breed.

Meet the adorable and very….very large, built like a fluffy cushion, Mischief!

Mischief is an 8 year old Ragdoll in need of a fab forever home. Mischief does have some older man health issues, which have been meticulously well catered to with his previous family. Nothing overly dramatic, he is just on a daily nutritional supplement (about $1 a day) to prevent cystitis.

Our lovable man does need to lose weight and he will require daily grooming. He will take some time to get into his brushing routine with new owners.

A child free, dog free home will suit best. Also a home where his new owners are dedicated to getting him back into a healthier weight range. Luckily he does love to play, so getting our fluffy cushion man moving is working well.

Kitten season has started. But……

October is the month for patience. These babies need time to grow up, and if the kittens are fortunate enough to have a mum, the mums need time to raise their family.

Kittens usually start becoming available from November onwards.

So hang in there, foster families are raising beautiful animals with tremendous amounts of love and care.

And yes, we will keep you informed on this page, each and every time we have animals adoption ready!
