Gosh I’ve been slack at updates🤦‍♀️
Hangaroa Kenworth attended his first 2 A and P shows over the last 2 weeks, and is now enjoying a much needed few weeks off before coming back in for December shows.

He came on so much over Gizzy show, his jump is starting to come along now! He handled the atmosphere so well for a young horse. We had planned to do the working hunter however as there was a heap of rain overnight the ground was just too slippery for a young horse with no studs, it wasn’t worth him losing the confidence, so we pulled out and just practiced over the warm up fences, there will be another day!

He also came to Hawke’s Bay show where he did 3 big days of jumping! We did the working hunter on day 1 where we both got a bit of a shock at some beefy roll tops, bigger than I had jumped him yet but he jumped them! Then 2 days of showhunter in a rather slippery ring so we just went very quietly and pottled round focusing on getting him straighter and just getting mileage and he did fabulous.

This horse is just fantastic.
He is available at stud this season, contact me or Hangaroa Landcruisers for more info😊

Mowgli at Hawke’s Bay show💕

Picking up a 5th in his first ever 1m show hunter and 3rd in his first ever 1m Handy Hunter💕

Shows like this really make me appreciate how far this horse has come in the year he’s been here. From being a wee bit useless at lifting his legs to jumping me out of some real deep spots and not even rattling a rail! He’s going to be a great horse for someone, message me for more details.

His ad will be up this week and he will be available for 2 weeks before he comes off the market gets more schooling goes to a few more shows and his a price increase. So get in quick if you want a bargain😉

Mowgli in his 1m Handy Hunter the full Raw round

Was it perfect, No, Did I help him get every lead, also no. But did he give 110% and dig me out of some deep distances, Yes and for that I couldn’t be more proud. It’s such a surreal feeling when the baby horses start acting more grown up🥰

He is available, would be a fantastic horse for someone, pm me for more details

Mowgli at Gizzy show
He did the 80 and 90 sj on day one, where we just weren’t working together very well resulting in messy rounds, him not quite on my aids and me swapping back to my bad habits of chasing🤦‍♀️😂
Day 2 in the showhunter he did AMAZING, 2 Beautiful rounds, out of the placings but so confident and rideable.

For his first A and P I couldn’t be more pleased, and I’m excited so see what’s to come with him.

Welcoming Talulah🥰 Out of Skye (QHxBush Pony) by Indelibly stamped of Hare Hill

She was born Wednesday morning so with being busy with the show I haven’t managed to spend a whole lot of time with her, but it’s my job today😊 She’s quite a bold little foal though so I’m excited to put a hand on her.

She is a half sibling to Azul (Skye x Galaxy Gold Fever)

Really debating putting her back in foal to PJ🙈 But I’m also not sure I need another pony foal, but she’s thrown 2 cracker foals now, decisions!!

Hangaroa Kenworth at his dressage debut!
What a horse! Couldn’t be happier with how he went, he scored a fantastic 67% in his first test and then went on to score 68% in his second!
Rather pleased with how he’s progressing.

He is standing at stud this season, feel free to pm me or Hangaroa Landcruisers for more info😊

Harley in his dressage debut!
Gosh in the ring this horse was fabulous. He’s really learning the go forward and naturally softens to the bridle.
The warmup was interesting but he hasn’t had a heap of work so it was rather understandable.
Can’t wait for the next one on him💕
