Words cannot express how grateful I am that both my ragdolls Puss (10 years old) and Kitty (16 years old) both crossed the rainbow bridge within nearly one year of each other, and I was lucky enough to have them cared for by Carevets and respectfully cremated by Pet Reflections to have them with me for the rest of my life.
Kitty was a year old when my late partner brought her home one night after me begging for a white cat. She was very timid to begin with and didn't like females very much but took to any male who showed her attention. Slowly over time she blended in with my pet expanding family however males were always her favorite. She was my little fighter, never once got sick or even visited a vet in her life until recently. Kitty was loved and very much a part of my family and having been gifted by my late partner and daughter's dad I found it really hard to let her go, but I also knew I had to put her comfort in front of my sentimental memories.
Puss was actually my mum's kitten for 2 days before I just fell in love with him and basically stole him from her since she also had his sibling, I remember saying to Mum you don't need two ragdolls mum and took him home with me. He lived a good life, loved sunbathing on the deck in summer and then come winter the fireplace was his best friend. Puss was my big boy and wandered during the day then returned at night to jump on my bed, either wet or dirty at some ridiculous hour. Unfortunately, Puss got really sick very quickly and after medications to try and keep him comfortable until I was ready, I had to make the difficult decision to let him cross that rainbow bridge without further suffering. Again, Carevets were amazing, loving and supportive and this is when I found out about Pet Reflections and just knew I had to do it as this service was now local without having to send my furbabies out of town. So again, thank you Kirstie and James.
My little pet family will always be with me, and I so appreciate what you have done for our community providing this service.
