Meersbrooke No Ears 25yo by Meersbrooke Ambassador. She was a former top Showhunter horse for Sacha, and did some showjumping & eventing too. She was also Sachas mount when she passed her B cert at PC.

No Ears is the dam of Meersbrooke Big Ears & Meersbrooke Baby Ears. Both of whom are very successful sporthorses.

No Ears still enjoys a good gallop over the hills. She's a bit stiffer & slower...but happy living with her (mostly) retired friends). She's always had a quirky personality. But a 🥕 treat usually wins the day 😂

Here's a few pictures of No Ears & some of her friends. There's 9 in total live together. Missing the photo call were another 3 TBs Chimes (18yo) - Alan's trekking horse, Mystery Gift (16yo) she was a cracking racehorse, but unfortunately never managed to produce a live foal & Spring (10) - the paddock weirdo! She just does her own thing.

Our 5yo homebred pony Meersbrooke Miss Brightspark (aka Donkey) is down with Sach & Josh at Meersbrooke Stables
Second day under saddle. Going well, happily walking & trotting in the round pen. Once she's done a bit more, she'll head to Lochinvar Station for our granddaughter Addi to ride.

Hi everyone. We're settling in to our new property. The horses are enjoying blasting round the hills again! Even the older retired ones. There are some nice flats too...Iced Ripples, the young Colts & the mare & foal are there.

We have a nice young horse for sale (5yo 15.3hh mare) & a full sized pony available to lease (to suitable home only). There's also a 6yo 16.1hh gelding for sale who's had some successful sporthorse outings. All are TB. Pm for details.

Enjoying life as a sport horse. Meersbrooke Cartago is a 5yo TB mare we bred by Sir Ego out of Cartagena (by Colombia). She's been out showjumping, RTR & flat classes. She also helps out Meersbrooke Stables as a nana horse giving the youngsters confidence as they learn new skills. Cartago recently won the ridden TB class at Waimarino A&P. Big thanks to Sam for riding her.

All settled in on the new farm. Three generations...Grandsire Meersbrooke Iced Ripples, daughter Fancy & granddaughter Poppet. Direct line back to our original Clydesdale stallion Guilford Duke. He'd be Poppets GtGt Grandsire.

Poppet is growing. Very outgoing friendly foal. Great mover with a big gallop! Has alot of her sire Sir Ego in her looks...

Stepping back in time...Paula Mussen & Meersbrooke Flintstone (aka Fred) jumping World Cup round. Fred was by Meersbrooke Ambassador out of the TB mare Ditto (by Allgrit). He always showed ability. Pushing past his mates to get the best line in the jumping lane as a youngster. His full sister was Meersbrooke Debutante. They were both 3/4 TB 1/4 Clydesdale.

Meersbrooke Baby Ears, Meersbrooke Cartago, Meersbrooke F1 & Meersbrooke Ziva. All at different stages of their careers. Ziva the schoolmaster, Baby in full competing mode, F1 & Cartago just starting out.

Not often two Meersbrooke Iced Ripples babies are seen together. But yesterday at Tutaenui Sports, old hand Meersbrooke Ziva was showing 5yo Meersbrooke F1, how things are done. F1 has been leased to a local family. Will be great to see Iced Ripples last foal out doing things. Meanwhile Ziva was a great scoolmaster, with Sam riding her in the 1m class.
