Education is so important! I groomed Lele, who originally was coming in for a full body clip, we educated her owners that a double coated breed will benefit 100x more from a deep clean and deshed - and to keep the coat in top shape. They took everything on board and we ended it removing all unnecessary undercoat...leaving her shiny, healthy and less fluffies falling out.

From start to finish Lele was perfect, I enjoyed our grooming session and can't wait to see her again 💜🐾

Ever wondered what your dog actually gets up to during a full groom? Here’s the step-by-step glow-up journey 👇

👀 1. “Inspection time, please stand still sir/ma’am”

We start with a full check-over — coat, skin, ears, nails… basically the doggy health MOT.
We’re looking for tangles, sneaky mats, and anything that might need a little extra TLC.

🪮 2. The “brush before bath or regret later” session

Before any water appears, we brush out the coat properly.
Think of it like detangling a really determined hair knot… but it runs away and has opinions.

If there are mats, we carefully work through them or safely clip them out if they’re too tight — comfort first always 🧡

🛁 3. Spa time activated

Cue the bath!

First wash = “how are you THIS dirty?” rinse
Second wash = proper deep clean glow-up
Conditioner = soft, fluffy, freshly baked cinnamon roll energy

Lots of splashing. Some dramatic side-eye. Occasionally betrayal.

🌪️ 4. The blow-dry Olympics

This is where the personality comes out 😅

Fluffy ears flying everywhere
Zoomies in slow motion (while attached to a grooming table)
Hair goes from “scruffy chaos” to “ready for styling”

We brush while drying so everything sits smooth and even for clipping.

✂️ 5. The big chop moment (aka transformation time)

Clippers come out and the magic happens.
We carefully trim the coat to the chosen style/length, working methodically so everything is even and comfortable.

Some dogs relax…
Some dogs question all life choices at this stage.

Either way, the glow-up is happening.

🎨 6. Detail work = perfection mode

Scissors come in to clean up the edges:

Face shaping
Paw tidy-ups
Tail finishing touches

This is where the “cute dog” becomes a “model dog” 💅

🐾 7. Final fluff, check & “you’re stunning actually” moment

We do a final brush, check over every inch, tidy anything extra, and make sure your pup is feeling fresh, comfy, and fabulous.

Sometimes we whisper compliments. It helps.

💁‍♀️ 8. Pick-up time = main character energy

Your dog leaves:
✨ smelling amazing
✨ looking brand new
✨ acting like nothing just happened

And you get all the aftercare info + a very smug little fluffball.
