We now have our booking system in place through our website @ www.refinedk9doggrooming.co.nz
A MASSIVE Thank you to Grace & Kirean For all your help getting the website and booking system up and running, i couldn't have done it without y'all xx
All future appointments can be made through there, however if you are unsure of the services you need to select, feel free to reach out and I can help set it up with you.

A couple things to keep in mind when booking:
* If you have multiple dogs & want travel service, you only need to select the travel once.

* All DOODLES, CAVOODLES, OODLES, POODLES, SPOODLES are under their own service. These are based @ a different rate due to timing of grooms etc.

*Pugs, Frenchie's etc are separate too.

* Please note that all prices have been adjusted, if you have any questions, flick us a message ! We are happy to help 😊

* Additional charges will still apply if your dog is matted/ has fleas/ or aggressive.

We hope this will help increase the efficiency with booking and rebooking your pups in for the future, we all know time is money these days! So we want everything to run fast smooth and have happy clients!

This is my sweet client, Paddington.
What you see here is Paddington relaxing in his bath. What you don't see is how much trauma comes up with different parts of grooming.
Paddington has a pretty ingrained fear of anything to do with his nails or legs being touched in fear of it hurting him. With more conversations with his mum and getting to know his grooming background more, we have a few ideas why Paddington has this fear - aggression around grooming.
we have regular grooming appointments to keep the consistency and relationship building going. Although some grooms are not always "complete", the key thing is that we haven't pushed Paddington too far.
we don't blame the dog. This is installed fear.
I may not be a master groomer, or have any ribbons from competitions to my name, but I do have the compassion & knowledge to help these animals get through the grooming process safely. This looks different for all dogs. No grooming session runs the exact same way. It's tailored and i do my best to educate the client to better their dogs health.
Although Paddington may always have a fear around nails trimmed or his feet being touched, I know he has no need or want to act out for the whole session. I'm very grateful he allows me this time 😆
Even with his spicy side, I have all the drive and motivation to continue helping him and his mum with this process.

This is more than just a job.
More than a paycheck.
More than doggy cuddles.

There is also a new booking system in the works so all appointments can be made ASAP and by you from your end 💗 this will make booking your appointments more efficient and easy for everyone. I'll update everyone once this is ready.

In light of increasing inflation, it is necessary for me to reevaluate and adjust my prices for Mini grooms, Full grooms, and travel fees to maintain the high standards of service my clients have come to love. Each groom will be increasing by $5. Travel fee minimum will also increase by $5. I appreciate all the love and support from all my clients, and I hope to continue servicing your pups

Could you say no to this face?
Frankie is still young but has taken to grooming fantastically. Although by the end of the day, he was fighting the sleep while sc******ng his face and, well.....it will do 🥹🥰 we called it a day, took a cute pic and of course gave him some delicious salmon skin 😋

Thank you to all my beautiful clients that have been patient with me lately! I have been working with a torn Achilles which has forced me to pull back on the work load and focus on the healing. Happy to say it is slowly improving ☺️
