Hello lovely people.
The NZRR are doing a wee survey regarding our food products. We would be most grateful if you could take a few moments to answer the 7 questions on the form. Please tag anyone who you think might be interested in doing it or share it out to your rattie friends.
Thank you in advance.

In two weeks time, I will have four boys available to adopt. They MUST go in pairs, or as a foursome. I have no pics at this point, of course. 😂
Flick me a message if you’re keen.

Been a bit useless on the update front!
Albie’s first litter are almost 8wks old, and some will be adoptable after Christmas. The younger litter are coming up 4wks, and are doing great. They love food, and make a horrendous mess. 😂
There will likely be four boys for adoption, from mid-January.

DID YOU KNOW that rats are able to delay implantation, if the conditions aren’t ideal for a litter? This is usually in rats that are lactating, have a litter that is nursing, or are in bad conditions, that aren’t conducive to healthy babies. They can delay up to ten days! Isn’t that amazing?! And so now I will welcome to Albie’s second litter. They (11!) were born on the 21st Nov-four weeks after her first litter. Back-to-back pregnancies, nursing etc can be incredibly hard in the mother. Albie is an excellent mum, and is getting loads of high-protein, good-fats foods. She’s doing exceptionally well. I moved her first (5) babies in with my old ladies, and they are also doing very well. The elders are enjoying the extra eats, and goat milk.
