There’s something pretty special about these animals 💙
We spend every day with them - feeding them, working them, caring for them and getting to know every little part of their personalities. They’re beautiful animals, but yesterday was also a reminder of just how quickly things can go wrong around horses.
Mark was involved in an accident yesterday and, while he has a bit of recovering ahead of him, we’re incredibly thankful things weren’t worse.
We’ve been overwhelmed by the messages, phone calls and well wishes that have come through for Mark and our family. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to reach out - it genuinely means a lot to all of us.
The horses, of course, don’t know today is any different. They still need their breakfast, their work and their baths, and racing carries on.
So today we turn our attention to our runners and wish them, their drivers and all of our owners the very best of luck 🐎💙
Beautiful animals, a sport we love, and sometimes a very humbling reminder of the risks that come with them.
