We operate an animal shelter, and adoption centre, and rescue over 4,000 animals each year. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a charitable organization which aim to ensure the protection and prevention of cruelty to animals. Microchipping can help confirm ownership of a pet, it helps shelters and veterinarian clinics locate the owners quicker and is required by most countries when traveling/re-locating outside of the country.
Book an appointment to have your pets microchipped. While you are completing the microchip form, the SPCA team will do the microchipping.

Get your walking shoes ready for our favorite event of the year on Sunday, 30 August 2026 at the IJG Trails Waldorf gate! Whether you want to walk your own beloved fur-babies, stretch your legs with an eager SPCA shelter dog, or just come enjoy the fresh air and community vibes, we want you there!
⏰ Choose your time:
☀️ 08:00 AM – For the early birds
🕒 09:00 AM – For the later walkers
☕ Hot beverages and refreshing cold drinks will be available to keep you fueled and hydrated!
Entry Fee: N$100 per person
The Best Part: 100% of the proceeds go directly toward feeding, medicating, and caring for the animals at our shelter.

There will be coffee and cold rinks for sale, SPCA merchandise and raffle tickets....not too mention all the beautiful Fur-kids with happy wagging tails!
