DIRK HAMBLOCH:
Born in Germany, Dirk went into the professional world of dressage after finishing university. He initially trained for four years under Grand Prix trainer H. Schmidt, before opening his own large training business which he operated for six years. During this time he also trained in Osteopathy, after realizing that the majority of horses who have training issues and problems can be
helped by first addressing physical issues. With a strong emphasis on treatments and supporting the horse's wellbeing and health as an integral part of training, his way of training helps the rider feel more harmony and partnership with their horse. Focusing on correct basics, his horses freely and easily move up the levels and his students become more confident and balanced and learn to feel what is happening underneath them. After a chance vacation to Namibia almost nine years ago, he moved there permanently in 2005. He is a strong advocate of increasing standards and awareness in the horse world in Southern Africa. He is a qualified dressage judge in Namibia and as well as keeping up with his clients in Namibia, he regularly travels to Europe and the U.S. to treat horses of all breeds and disciplines. SAMANTHA PEARSON:
Samantha is a professional dressage instructor and trainer. Originally from the U.K., she trained in Europe with some of the best dressage masters in the world, such as Johann Riegler (of the Spanish Riding School of Vienna) and Ferdi Eilberg (Grand Prix rider and Coach of the U.K. Eventing Team). During these years she competed heavily in dressage, eventing and in-hand and ridden showing classes, and became qualified as a U.K. dressage judge. in 2002 she moved to the U.S. and started her own business. With a strong emphasis on training and producing young horses, Samantha ran her business for almost nine years, during which time she produced, competed and sold countless horses for breeders and individual owners, and prepared stallions and mares for their Performance Tests. Samantha's training methods establish the horse - and rider - as true athletes, and her training programs help to ensure that every horse and rider reaches their full potential. TESTIMONIALS FOR OSTEOTHERAPY:
~ Sarah Ward, Gaborone, Botswana:
"My horse Abba, a 16.3hh, thoroughbred gelding, somersaulted in April 2005 at the age of sixteen and landed heavily on his back with his saddle on. He started to show the soreness in his back during 2006. He has had regular sessions with Equine Chiropractors, Holistic Healers and vets. He had supplements of Mobility HA, Super Codlovine and Devil’s Claw Tea every day before and after the fall. In May of 2009 Abba came off these supplements and has had only “LubriSyn”, a totally natural product to help with the joints. Dirk Hambloch manipulated his back in June 2009 and recommended that I “Free Lunge” Abba for three weeks, twice a day, and have absolutely no weight on his back at all. I have been riding Abba for two weeks now and I can feel a definite “freedom” in his back and willingness to go “forward”. His well being is that of a much happier horse. I have been doing flatwork, jumping and hacking and Abba feels like a “new” horse and definitely younger than twenty years of age."

“We really appreciated your work on Ollie. We rode him now and could not believe how free his back was – his trot was awesome right from the start. Thanks again, it was a pleasure to meet you!”
~ Zanelle Naude, Okahandja:
"Hey Dirk
How are you? I just wanted to give a progress report on Billy. He is doing much better he has really improved, he does not buck and kick out any more when I lunge him or get emotional. He has become a lot more relaxed and has even excepted the whip a bit more. I am really proud of him, he is more relaxed with the saddle on him. He has learned to walk faster with more rhythm and to trot more relaxed but with a good rhythm. I can even get him to canter more relaxed without running away or going into a gallop. The best part, his attention is 99% of the time on me and he is actually listening to me and paying attention to me allot more. I can feel that our bond has grown more, a few more weeks and I might just have my old boy back. I am really impressed and feel so stupid that I did not see what the problem was. Can I start riding him now? Thank you so much for all that you have done!! Can't wait for our next lesson. Regards
Zanelle"
