From Shy Pup to Spa Queen 👑🐾

When Bailey first came to Groovy Dogs for her very first groom, she was a little bundle of nerves - unsure about the whole “pamper session” idea.
Fast forward to groom number four, and this girl struts in like she owns the place! 🐶✨

Today she totally leaned into her spa day - bath, brush, trim, and all the cuddles in between. Seeing her confidence grow with each visit is exactly why I love what I do. 💛

Here’s to many more grooms, Bailey! 🛁✂️

✨ 12 Months Without a Groom… (yes, again) Coco’s Incredible Transformation ✨Coco is a gorgeous Malamute–Golden Retriever mix who came in after a whole year without a groom. Her coat was tangled, matted and her tail had… let’s just say… souvenirs from her adventures. I started with a deep, gentle bath to get her clean and fresh, then spent ages drying that thick double coat until it was perfectly fluffy. After that, I carefully worked through her mats, tidied her up, and gave her the glow-up she deserved. The result? A soft, mat-free coat, a wagging tail, and one very happy girl waiting for her mum on the doggie couch. 🐾💛

14 years old. 12 months without a groom. And let’s say… a “snappy” history.
Today wasn’t about the perfect haircut, it was about trust. ❤️

Meet Bella. This was our very first session together. She’s had a bit of a spicy history, so I knew we had to go at her pace.

I took everything slowly - soft voice, gentle hands, calm energy. I let her see and sniff every tool before I used it. No rushing. No forcing. No stress.

Is it the most polished groom I’ve ever done? Nope, far from it. Did she pull away in fear a few times? Yes. But here’s the real win: not a single attempt to bite. Now Bella is lighter, cleaner, and far more comfortable than when she walked in. And I’m sure next time will be even better. 🐾

Because feeling safe is the real transformation, and kindness is the best style of all. 💛
