FYI......Kennel Cough is doing the rounds.
*We can not accept a dog to daycare or stay if symptoms of kennel cough is present, as we would have to close our doors for decontamination. All our cleaning products are kennel approved, pet friendly and used to prevent the spreed of diseases.

So what is Kennel Cough?
Kennel cough is a common and highly contagious respiratory infection in dogs.
* It's similar to us humans having a cold and can be caused by several different viruses and bacteria.
*The most common symptom is a persistent, dry, hacking cough that may sound like your dog is trying to clear their throat.
*Some dogs can also have a runny nose, sneezing, or mild tiredness, while other dogs continue to eat, drink, and play normally.
*Most healthy dogs recover within 1–3 weeks with rest. Sometimes steroids and antibiotics are needed and prescribed by you vet.
*Because kennel cough spreads easily through coughing, sneezing, shared water bowls, and close contact with other dogs, it's important to keep a symptomatic dog away from daycare, grooming and boarding until they have fully recovered.
*If your dog develops a persistent cough, has some difficulty breathing, becomes unusually tired, stops eating, or develops a fever, please contact your vet for advice and contact me if kennel cough is diagnosed by your vet and you have an upcoming stay..

*While vaccination cannot prevent kennel cough, it will reduce the risk of infection and may help lessen the severity of illness if your dog does become infected.
