The peaceful fishing village of Fenit has become ground zero for the biggest Gaelic footballer migration in Irish history. Following Joe O’Connor’s revelation that his secret weapon is “sea, steam and stare-downs,” over 5,000 inter-county players arrived overnight, most still in training gear.

Lord Mayor Mikey Moriarty issued a plea for calm after Donegal reportedly formed a defensive screen down the pier after a standoff emerged between Tyrone backs and Armagh midfielders after both claimed first rights to the next round of heat.

There’s no missing where our loyalties lie – the flags are flying, the colours are blazing, and even the dogs in Tralee are barking for the Kingdom! 🐶🏐

The whole team at Kellihers Mills is backing the boys as they face Donegal – with the Cliffords up front and plenty of local talent from Tralee in the mix, we’re feeling hopeful (and maybe a little hoarse from shouting already 😅).

🏇 What a fantastic weekend at Holmoak Stables for their showjumping event!

We were delighted to be involved, supporting the day with some of the sponsorship and a brand-new Kellihers Mills jump – which may or may not have added an extra challenge for the riders (sorry, not sorry! 😅).

A big thank you to everyone who helped organise such a brilliant event – the layout and set-up were top class. And well done to all the competitors who took part – we hope you had a great time (even if our jump made you work a little harder! 😉).

Tomorrow, we will be attending the funeral of our much-loved colleague and friend, Luke, who passed away suddenly last week. The shop will not be fully operational between 11:00am and 2:30pm as we pay our respects.

We are heartbroken by the sudden passing of our colleague and friend, Luke. Just 18 years old, he had been part of the team here at Kellihers Mills for the past couple of years, working part-time while in school. He was due to sit his Leaving Cert in a few weeks.

He was a kind, hardworking young man who loved football and always brought a smile to work. He’ll be deeply missed by all of us.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time 💙💙💙
