Somewhere out there is a dog eating dry nuts out of a bowl like a peasant, unaware they could instead be hand-fed like a tiny food-motivated KING.

Hand-feeding your dog (even just one meal a day) is one of the BEST ways to level up their brain and your bond, using something you already have: Their everyday food.

Why we recommend hand feeding over bowls:

Bonding: Instead of a bowl being the exciting part of dinner, you become the exciting part of dinner.

Training: Every meal doubles as a training session — ask for a Sit, eye contact, or an Into Bed cue before each piece to master these skills with little to no effort.

Health: For dogs that inhale their food, this slower method of eating can help prevent bloating or choking.

Focus: Hand-fed dogs tend to check in more and focus better during training — so it's a win-win.

Here's a BLAST FROM THE PAST ... One of my early attempts at content creation!

I've been thinking lately about how quiet this page can be at times, and I realised I wanted to explain why. The truth is, ... Life is full.

Between raising a newborn, managing one of largest animal rescue centers in Ireland, and trying to be intentional about reducing screen time, these social media pages have ended up lower down the priority list.

And then there's my old senior dog. The last in my pack. These days, age has caught up with him. He'd much rather potter about at his own pace, enjoy a comfortable nap, and soak up all the fuss he can get rather than be front and centre of any training videos. He has more than earned a gentle retirement.

So, if my page isn't packed with flashy content, daily updates, or trending reels, please don't mistake that for inactivity.

I'm still here. I'm still working with dogs and their people every day.

I'm still answering messages, supporting clients, celebrating wins, and helping owners build better relationships with their dogs. Thank you to everyone who continues to SUPPORT, LIKE, SHARE, COMMENT , whether I've posted yesterday or three weeks ago. Your trust means the world.
